Brilliant2 announces the launch of TaskUs.com 

Web software and branding company debuts flexible web application

Flannery O'Connor once said "A good website is hard to find.” Or maybe it was a good man. Either way, Brilliant2.com, a progressive internet advertising agency, takes pride in creating unique, effective, and cutting-edge websites.

Brilliant2 co-founders David Dexter and Tony Jessup have done just that for new client TaskUs.com. TaskUs serves businesses and individuals by linking them with overseas service providers who perform a variety of tasks, including accounting, proofreading, data entry, web design, research, and tax preparation.

Brilliant2.com was born in 2006, and specializes in building innovative websites that are designed to generate sales, increase market awareness, and establish strong company identity. "TaskUs needed a website that was easy to understand and simple to administrate,” explains Jessup. "We designed the web application from scratch, focusing on critical features which reduced the app cost and clutter, giving TaskUs the ability to create and manage tasks online.”

The flexible and a one-of-a-kind web application was built with open source technology such as PHP and SQL in preparation for TaskUs.com's January 2009 launch. The custom-built software runs through a user's internet browser without installation.

Brilliant2.com tapped into two decades of design and programming experience to provide the project's concept, color scheme, logo, and architecture. They even came up with TaskUs.com's "host” -the Friendly Task character.

The client is pleased. "I have nothing but good things to say about Brilliant2,” says TaskUs.com co-founder Jaspar Weir. "They're professional, easy to work with, understanding, and helpful. Not only did they build TaskUs.com, but they were able to help us bring our idea to life. These guys are not just my web developers, but they're also my friends!”

And like Flannery O'Connor once said, ”A good friend is hard to find.”

Or something like that.
