New ScriptShark website puts managers back in control

Website technology is becoming so powerful that it is possible for non-technical employees to run an entire website. Not just edit text but run promotions, add products and grow the website content. ScriptShark, a popular screenplay critique service, launched a new website that is a perfect example how eCommerce and content can be easily updated together.

Most eCommerce websites are simply too complicated for employees to manage and end up costing more time then is necessary to train. Or worse, employees simply don’t use power features because they don’t understand them. Brilliant2 was able to solve this problem for ScriptShark buy making it easy to sort though products shown here: http://www.scriptshark.com/script-coverage/screenplays.html

Keeping content fresh is critical to growing non-paid website traffic. Especially in the movie industry where writers want to know which script sold right away.  To make it easier to update content Brilliant2 provided ScriptShark with a CMS (Content Management System) that is integrated into the eCommerce functionality so it was easy to updated multiple blogs at once.

Tony Jessup, Brilliant2’s co-founder,  says “eCommerce and CMS systems are not new to the web. What is new is the ability for non-technical employees to be able to actually use them without extensive training. We focused on simplicity with ScriptShark at it worked beautifully”.
