As a leader in the script coverage business and a New York Times company, ScriptShark needed an overhaul of their eCommerce website. We suggested a mixed solution that combined the eCommerce features of Magento and the content management of ExpressionEngine. The solution worked perfectly as has since increased traffic (by 40% in first 60 days) and search ranking by integrated blog updates right into product pages.
Giving product managers the ability to update the site was critical. We went way beyond the WYSIWYG editor and gave them robust Magento features like the ability to add unique data to product pages and manage events though the admin.
The new website saves time by letting employees update the website and increases revenue with up-sells, cross-sells and SEO friendly design.
